The Climate Challenge Fund was established in 2008 after the Green MSPs in the Scottish Parliament secured funding from the Scottish Government budget.
The Fund is designed to support innovative and locally-led projects to cut carbon emissions and build sustainable communities.
To date, it has funded over 230 extraordinary and diverse projects, and more than £27m has been invested.
This money has laid the groundwork for sustainable jobs across the country, for greener and more fulfilling ways of living, and for the low carbon communities of the future.
